Food Sovereignty Program Manager

Green Harvest Indonesia is a leading organization dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and food security in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Food Sovereignty Program Manager to join our team and lead our transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing local food security and agricultural resilience.

In this role, you will work closely with local farmers, communities, and stakeholders to develop and implement programs that support sustainable farming practices, improve food access, and build resilient agricultural systems. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and international partners, to ensure the success of our initiatives.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement programs to enhance local food security and agricultural resilience.
• Coordinate with local farmers, communities, and stakeholders to support sustainable farming practices.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance to ensure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and international partners to secure funding and resources for our initiatives.
• Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for farmers and community members on sustainable agriculture practices.
• Leverage GIS and remote sensing tools to map and analyze agricultural data, identifying areas for improvement and intervention.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and areas for further development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in sustainable agriculture and food security.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, agricultural development, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices and food security principles.
• Proficient in using GIS and remote sensing tools for agricultural data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Fluency in both English and Indonesian languages.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
